Sydney Tritschler
Meet Sydney!! She just graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Marine
Biology and is thrilled to spend her first post-graduate summer on a sailboat in the Caribbean.
Sydney has worked for the Florida Institute of Oceanography for three years and has always had a
love for the great outdoors. For so many reasons, it feels like home for this Florida girl, who
has spent so much time sailing on the oceans and diving below them. Sydney has previously spent
a summer semester sailing from Fiji to Indonesia, learning both nautical and marine science
aboard. She spent last summer teaching on the shores of Vancouver, B.C. and Miami, and her senior
year of college as a scientific diver conducting research in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
studying the efficacy of marine protected areas on fish and coral populations. She enjoys time
on the beach, exploring the water and meeting people who share in her aquatic love. Sydney is
excited for this next adventure, the travel, the new friends and the memories they will create
together.
