Hey everyone! Lindsey here, mate on Stella Maris with your trip update.
Today was Race Day and it was such a fun one. We had a mellow morning since our Rescue Divers were up early (6:45 am early) and off all day working toward their certifications. The rest of us had a slow start at Scrub Island. Sophie put together a breakfast buffet, some of us maybe had ice cream for breakfast and a few of us wandered into the dive shop and boutique.
Once we were off the dock, the race was on. The wind was gusty and perfect, and with Harry at the helm, Sophie navigating, and Dalia as mate, we sailed from Scrub Island to Mountain Point… and we won Race Day! The whole crew worked together and crushed it.
After dropping anchor, we spent the afternoon snorkeling, tubing, and hanging out with the other boats. Gracie and Cam made a fabulous lunch—fruit, veggies, meats, and all the good stuff on a big charcuterie spread. Dinner was burrito bowls made by Dalia, Sam, and Marin, and they were amazing.
