A Fantastic Day at Bitter End!

Today was a super chilled but action-packed day spent at Bitter End! The morning kicked off with a delicious breakfast buffet, plenty of good laughs, and excitement for the day ahead.

After breakfast, it was time for the one and only Dinghy Dares! This year’s challenges included dressing up our captain, creating a gourmet meal, painting a portrait of our photographer Ollie, and an epic paddleboard race. A huge shoutout goes to Mason from Little Newton, who absolutely dominated the race and paddled his way to a well-deserved gold medal!

Once the Dinghy Dares wrapped up, the students worked together to prepare lunch before everyone hopped over to Bitter End for an awesome afternoon on shore. There was no shortage of activities, with students enjoying Hobie Cats, beach soccer, tubing, wakeboarding, and so much more. Whether they were flying across the water or relaxing on the beach, everyone had an absolute blast. Of course, no trip to Bitter End would be complete without a visit to the gift shop, and plenty of cool souvenirs found their way back to the boats!

After an afternoon full of fun in the sun, everyone returned to their boats where dinner preparations got underway. Tonight’s menu was a delicious Penne Pasta and it was easily one of the tastiest meals of the trip so far. The students did an amazing job preparing dinner, and there certainly weren’t many leftovers!

With everyone happily full, we wrapped up the evening with boat clean-up, followed by a fun boat meeting where we reflected on another incredible day together. After a long day packed with adventure, teamwork, and laughter, it was finally time to power down and get some well-earned rest before tomorrow’s adventures.
