MEGA 2 Day 19

Today we woke up at Little Harbour at 7 a.m. and had scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast before everyone headed out for their daily activities. We started by dropping the kids off at diving, then got into some watersports and Colgating. It was windy, so Colgating was cut a little short, but we still got to heel over pretty far, which made it exciting.

The rest of the fleet went snorkeling, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. We have some very skilled students when it comes to watersports who keep impressing us. Little Harbour also has crystal-clear blue water, and every time we go there, everyone is always so happy.

Once the divers got back, we did pre-departure checks and had a smooth up-anchor before sailing to our next destination: Valley Trunk Bay. We anchored there, and it’s just one bay over from the Baths, which everyone is really looking forward to visiting tomorrow.

We had some swim time and hung out on a white sandy beach with some cool rock formations before starting showers and planning our chili cook-off theme. The Sail Caribbean chili cook-off is our biggest tradition, and it can get really weird. The students pick the strangest theme they can think of and perform for their silly and loud judges. Our boat’s theme was witchcraft meets dance battle, and the crew fully committed. Olivia and Robbie made a great batch of chili, and the judges even did a drop test and counted the beans for fun.

After a boat clean, we wrapped up the evening with a game of Hot Seat, where we got to learn more about Ryan and Georgina. And of course, we passed around some Oreos. In the morning, we will head to the Baths and walk through together before heading back to Hodges for our last day together. Wow, can’t believe it’s over! We will keep you posted, but MEGA 2 has been a blast.
