Good morning from Caroleena! We woke up at Cooper Island and enjoyed a delicious breakfast of bagels made by Jake and Madeline. After breakfast, we split up for the day’s activities. Half of the crew headed out for diving while the other half set sail over to The Bight. The sail was super chill, with great weather and even better vibes.

Once we arrived at The Bight, we enjoyed a lunch of mac and cheese before spending some time relaxing on the boat and playing beach volleyball while we waited for the divers to return. Meanwhile, the dive group completed their first and second open water dives, descending to around 30 feet. They practiced several dive skills and were lucky enough to see all kinds of marine life, including lionfish, pufferfish, an octopus, colorful coral, and plenty of tropical fish.

The divers met us back at The Bight, and everyone reunited before heading out on the helipad hike. We had a great time taking in the views and playing games at the top before making our way back down to the boats. Once we returned, everyone grabbed a well-earned shower and got ready for the evening’s chili cook-off.

Howard’s chili was absolutely delicious, and to make the night even more fun, we had a barbershop-themed dinner. After the cook-off, we finished the day with boat clean and our evening boat meeting before settling in for the night, excited for another great day ahead.
