Today we woke up bright and early, some of the Fleet heading out to go birding and learn about seabirds from yours truly, Marine Bio Mate Lily! We spotted Pelicans, Brown Boobies, Royal Terns, and Magnificent Frigatebirds!
After a successful morning of bird watching, we returned to our boats for breakfast sammies, PDCs, and Olympics prep!
After dropping the ball at Soper’s, we motored over to Sandy Cay for Olympics! She’s The Captain swept the floor in tug of war, turned our captain into a mermaid, performed a synchronized swimming routine to “Call Me Maybe,” and got seriously dizzy spinning around the fenders. SHE’S THE CAPTAIN, WE’RE THE CREW!
After Olympics, we ate lunch, pulled up anchor, and sailed over to Cane Garden Bay for some swimming fun. We were welcomed by a light shower and a beautiful rainbow.
After ocean showers, a stunning sunset, and a delicious dinner of spaghetti, meatballs, and salad, the crew giggled the night away under the stars, already excited for another day of adventure to come.
