We started the day early with a 5:45 wake up, since it was set to be an action packed day full of fun and lots going on. We arrived at the Baths around 7, taking trucks from Virgin Gorda Yacht Club to the Baths with music playing the whole way, setting really good vibes for the morning. Program Director Grace gave a talk on the history of the Baths, with Mate Daisy adding in a fun fact to keep us on our toes.
After exploring, we headed back to the boats for a delicious lunch of med bowls. From there it was boat clean and time to write letters to ourselves.
Then it was time to head to the Moorings for our final evening all together. Mates Azra and Tommo, along with Ops Manager Mitch, took charge of the evening BBQ, which was a huge success. We all sat down under the canopy for an awards ceremony and a slideshow of all the memories we captured, along with a farewell video. This was followed by skits and awards, and a final message from our Director Arter, who spoke about how proud he was of every camper throughout the program and how successful the program had been overall, with a special mention to returners for coming back. We hope you enjoyed another program with us.
The next morning we woke up to say our goodbyes and wish everyone safe travels home.
A final message from us: it was a pleasure to meet everyone and watch you grow, not just as individuals but as a team and a crew. The connections made and memories shared were a joy to witness, and we feel privileged to have captured and documented it all.
We hope you have an amazing rest of your summer, and we hope to see you back here next summer.
