Good morning! Today was our last morning with our campers. We woke up and enjoyed a simple breakfast of croissants and juice before doing one final sweep of the boats and making sure everything was in order.
Once everything was finished, we gathered together as the captains and crewmates shared some heartfelt words about the incredible last two weeks. It was a special moment to reflect on all the memories, growth, and friendships that had been made along the way.
Then it was time to grab the bags and head over to the parking lot for pickup. The campers spent their final moments together saying goodbye to the friends they had made while waiting for the taxi to arrive.
When the truck pulled up, we loaded up their bags, and before long it was time for one last round of hugs, laughs, and goodbyes. Then, just like that, they were off!
We had such a wonderful two weeks with these campers, and we are so sad to see them go. Thank you Alpha crew for all the unforgettable memories, endless laughter, and amazing adventures. We hope to see you again next year!
