Today, we woke up at Little Harbor on Norman Island, where we were greeted with great weather: bluebird skies and perfect winds. We started off the morning with breakfast sandwiches and then began pre-departure checks to get ready to sail to Jost Van Dyke, an island on the other side of Tortola.

After our 4 hour sail, we arrived at Diamond Cay. We made sandwiches on the mooring ball and hung out before our hike to the Bubbling Pool, which is a natural saltwater pool that fills up and drains with every wave. Once we arrived, we played a game where the campers were asked questions about their captains, and if they got it wrong, the captains poured water on them. The roles were later switched, so the campers got to pour water on their captains as well!

Once we made it back to our boats, we took a short, 25-minute motor over to Sydney’s, where we took out daily ocean shower and prepared to go to shore for dinner! There was a fantastic buffet that offered barbecue chicken, fried rice, pasta salad, and fresh fruit. On top of that, there was an assortment of shops that sold cool shirts, hats, and much more. After dinner, we had a fun dance party with a live DJ, which everyone enjoyed! Later, we returned to boats, where we relaxed from our fun night and got ready for a new day.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
