Today our mega fleet crew woke up in Anegada bright and early, made some pancakes, and dropped the ball for a long sail. During our sail back to the North Sound, we reviewed wind sailing, sail trim, and tacking! After a few hours on the water, we picked up a mooring ball at the Bitter End Yacht Club and prepped some lunch grilled cheeses or quesadillas. We had some free time to swim, paddle board, and hang out on our boats.

Then we headed ashore to explore the Bitter End. Some of the students spent their time sailing Hobie cats, wakeboarding, and tubing, while others relaxed on the beach or got a bite to eat with friends. We were all excited about the grocery store and clothing boutique!

Later, we headed back to the boats for shower time and dinner prep. My crew on Vida ended the night with music and lots of laughter!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
