Today, the fleet awoke still on docks at Nanny Cay and ready to seize the day! Our crews had an opportunity to check out the local shops and socialize between boats before we had some excellent de-docking plans from our captains.

We departed Nanny promptly at noon and set sail for Marina Cay! While under way, a wonderful upwind sail was enjoyed by all with ample tacking, a points of sail lesson, and a man overboard drill (a buoy took the place of a living volunteer 🙂 ).

Once we moored at Marina Cay, the students eagerly jumped into the water to snorkel and search for turtles. In the evening, we all settled in for a delicious meal of taco salad.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
