This morning we woke up bright and early at 6:30, and Lucia and Ben made us a yummy breakfast of eggs and sausage! Once everyone was fueled up, we cleaned the boat and completed our PDC’s. After that, it was time for… boat swaps! Once boat swaps were finished, we had our navigation briefing, dropped the ball, and set sail! We spent the sail laughing, having great conversations, and enjoying the beautiful weather. Guess where we sailed to… Little Harbor! (A classic favorite.)

After we med-anchored, Jane and Locke made some delicious BLT’s for lunch while our divers geared up for their afternoon dive. They saw lobsters, lionfish, sea cucumbers, a big eagle ray, and lots of sea turtles happily munching on seagrass! (Sophia definitely wanted everyone to know about that one!) While the divers explored underwater, the rest of the Alpha fleet went on a turtle snorkel! Little Harbor is famous for its amazing wildlife, and it definitely lived up to the hype. We saw so many turtles and even spotted a few stingrays cruising by!

Once the divers returned, it was time for showers while Claire, Sophia, and Jane got started on dinner prep. You may be wondering what was for dinner… Chicken nachos!! They were super yummy, and everyone was excited to dig in after such an adventurous day.

After dinner, we powered through boat clean before the divers geared up once again for a night dive! During the dive, they saw a bunch of lobsters, some BIG barracudas, tarpon, and a huge shipwreck.

“The shipwreck had a wall of coral and skeletons drinking beer.” – Locke

While the divers were underwater, the rest of the Game Day crew made Rice Krispie treats and went on a night snorkel. Louie and Harley spotted some BIG tarpon swimming around in the dark! Once the divers returned, we wrapped up the day with our boat meeting, ate the Rice Krispie treats, and then headed to bed after another unforgettable day. Goodnight from Game Day!!
