Today was day 9 on our alpha fleet! We started the day with an incredible sail from bitter end to Anegada. On Tigerlily today, Ollie and Annabelle were skippers!
Today we decided to do a challenge raising sails, so that means the counselors did not help at all! They did an excellent job of communicating and having fun doing it.
Once we got to the beautiful Anegada, we all shuttled to shore and got into the trucks to head to loblolly where the kids got a marine bio lesson taught by our marine bio mates, Jack and Chloe.
Following that, they got some community service in by doing a beach clean. After that hard work, they got some free time to get ice cream, drinks and merch from the gift shop.
They also got the chance to go to a sandbar where some people got to see sharks and flamingos. After a long, eventful day, we went back to the boats for showers, dinner and boat meeting. A fun and successful day for our lovely alpha fleet!
