Day 4 of the Lates program was another action-packed day filled with adventure, learning, and plenty of fun! We kicked off the morning with an awesome breakfast of French toast topped with syrup and whipped cream—the perfect way to fuel up for the busy day ahead.

It was an especially exciting morning for our divers as they officially began their Open Water training. Although it was a long day, it was incredibly rewarding to teach the kids the fundamentals of scuba diving and watch their confidence grow with every skill they mastered. Seeing their excitement and love for diving come to life is what makes these days so special.

While the divers were busy underwater, the rest of the campers made the most of the morning. After ribbing over to Salt Island for a quick hike, boats performed their pre-departure checks and sailed over to The Bight at Norman Island.

Today also marked our first boat swap of the program, which is always a highlight. It allows campers to meet new people, make new friends, and experience different teaching styles from other instructors and counselors. It’s a fantastic way to build confidence and strengthen the community across the entire fleet.

After an exciting day of activities, we made our way to The Bight at Norman Island, one of the most beautiful spots in the British Virgin Islands. Once anchored, dinner preparations got underway, and we enjoyed delicious Mediterranean bowls that were both healthy and packed with flavor.

To wrap up another incredible day, everyone came together for some fun evening games filled with laughter before settling in for a well-earned night’s sleep. Another unforgettable day in the books, and we can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store!
