Charlie/ Bravo Day 16: Brought to you by the crew of Vivaldi

Brought to you by Vivaldi…

Whew! What a day! We woke up startled as we were underway and had come to realize our boat was moving and in control of Cass and Jarad, who had snuck out of our anchorage at 6am to circumnavigate Guana Island.
The Charlie divers (Anne, Hayden, Liza, Christian, and Patton) headed out to Diamond Reef and The Maze. Hayden saw a sting ray and was so close she could have touched it! Anne saw an eel and Liza poked a jellyfish! Meanwhile, the others had some water-sports and Aysha went up on the stand-up paddle board for the first time!

Our Mexican clan (Jorge, Arturo, and Nico) took out some Picos for some small-boat sailing. Arturo kept forgetting to switch sides when tacking and went overboard three times! Devin went wake-boarding for the third time ever and was able to stand up; he is getting really good! Aysha and Anne went tubing together and had a pretty awesomely hilarious wipeout!

Mark, our Program Director, pulled every trick in the book trying to throw them off the tube but the ladies held on tight for most of it; surely many bruises tomorrow!

For dinner we had a beach BBQ after doing a beach cleanup, where collectively we picked up 11 huge bags of trash! We went back to the boats and the divers headed out for another night dive. The dive made it official for Patton, Liza, and Hayden to get their night diving specialty! Yahoo!! We ended the day with brownies and boat meeting. All and all, another excellent day!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
