Snow Cat’s 16th day started bright and early in Anegada. The fleet weighed anchor at 7:30 am and set sail for Savannah Bay, Virgin Gorda. It was blowing today, with apparent wind up to 28 knots. After some rough seas, flying pineapples, dodging one boat that couldn’t anchor, and a soundtrack of Bad Bunny, Charli XCX, and Lorde, Snow Cat was the first boat to anchor in Savannah Bay.
Once on anchor, the Snow Cat crew had a chill day — reading, sunbathing, and learning to make friendship bracelets. Meanwhile, some of the fleet went diving, and others learned about marine invertebrates. Unfortunately, snorkeling was cancelled due to several sightings of pink meanies (a mildly stinging jellyfish) — but fear not! The non-divers got a beach day instead. We played monkey in the middle, ran up and down the sand dunes, practiced handstands, and swam in crystal-clear, jelly-free water.
Once the divers returned, the infamous Chili Cook-Off began! Snow Cat solved a murder mystery, Grateful had a dance battle, Little Newt held a World Cup match (Chili won), and Pacify ran a tasting contest.
Snow Cat closed out the night with a friendship bracelet Secret Santa and cake to say goodbye to Charlotte. We’re so excited for Little Harbour tomorrow!
