We kicked off an awesome day at Cooper Island with eggs and sausage sandwiches to fuel up for another exciting day of adventures. From there, our divers departed to start their courses and fun diving adventures, while a group of Colgaters headed out of Manchioneel Bay to sail around and prepare for their practical exams. Everyone spent the morning building their skills, gaining confidence on the water, and making the most of another beautiful day in the BVI. A group of other campers sailed to a nearby island called Salt Island and did the famous Salt hike.
Everyone reconvened on shore for some well-earned shore time, playing on the beach, shopping at the boutique, and grabbing ice cream sandwiches from the café. It was the perfect chance to relax, hang out with friends, and enjoy everything Cooper Island has to offer before heading back out.
Back on the boats, it was time for swimming, snorkeling, showering, and soaking up the afternoon before everyone got to work preparing for one of the most anticipated events of the trip: the chili cook-off. Each boat whipped up its best chili while also putting together fun, creative skits to perform. The chili cook-off went down, and it was lit- full of energy, laughs, friendly competition, and plenty of delicious food.
Everyone wound down with a calm boat clean and boat meeting before calling it a night and resting up for all the fun ahead tomorrow. It was another super fun day at camp. The stoke factor was high, the vibes were chill, and the smiles were wide all around.
