Val Pieruccini

Meet Val, a rising Junior from Chicago currently pursuing a degree in Conservation and Resource
Studies and a minor in Geography at the University of California, Berkeley. When not immersed in
studies, Val can be found gliding across the Bay as a devoted member of the Cal Sailing Team.
One of her favorite memories on the Cal Sailing team has been sailing in Honolulu, Hawaii, and
scuba diving with her teammates. Val is extremely passionate about climate justice and mental
health awareness. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and baking. From being a
camper to working as a Mate last summer, Val is returning to Sail Caribbean for another exciting
adventure. Val is eager to share her passion for the environment, forge new friendships, and
create unforgettable memories with campers!
