Earlies Fleet! Day 6

Today Megan was our skipper of the day, Sunny was the mate of the day and, Anna navigator of the day. The day was mostly sunny a tad bit of clouds and generous trade winds! We were awoken to a wonderful spread of cereal, beagles, yogurt, and fruit. The fleet was split into two groups with one group going on a wonderful hike with mate Hillary aka “chillary” and sierra and foxtrot programs splitting off for an in depth lesson on turtles with captain Min Min.

After views, volleyball and snorkeling we all went B2B (back to boats) to get ready to drop the ball and head to our home base moorings. It was a short motor Jib sail.  On the way Tanner and Skye on graytful cooked a wonderful lunch for the crew. While they toiled in the hot kitchen of a swaying sailboat the rest of the loyal crew cleaned the boats in preparation for detailed boat inspections from our wonderful program directors.  Graytful absolutely DESTROYED boat clean and was able to get off boats early and on shore to hang out, shop and swim.

After many activities and a masterful effort from staff to restock our trusty work horses with food and other miscellaneous items, we started dinner. OH THE CHICKEN. Some would call it mountains some would call it heaps, in any case it was a lot of poultry cooked this evening. We all turned in early after full stomachs occupied the boats and laughs filled the air. Dreams of boats, fish and cooked chicken swam through the minds on the campers as they rested.
