Mega 2 Fleet! Day 16

By Oliver Stone July 30, 2026

Today was an awesome day for Mega, filled with boat swap fun, an underwater discovery with a cave snorkel, and a party to end the night at Sydney’s.

As a mate on Sweet Caroline, I went on an early morning swim around my boat before waking up the kids for a breakfast buffet of cereal and bagels. Open Water divers left my boat for 2 dives on the dive boat, and everyone else was shuffled around boats for a quick motor to the caves.

At the caves, I led a snorkel briefing talking about all the awesome fish species we see there. Today we were super lucky to see a disco fish — a blue, glittery fish that permanently looks like it’s lighting up the ocean dance floor. Back on boats, beef nachos were made by Hans and Madison. We had chill time swimming around the boats. We set sail to Jost Van Dyke — my day on Unsinkable was super fun. We played music, raised sails, had a Uno competition, and jibed our way to Little Harbour, JVD.

After showers and a boat clean, we departed to shore for dinner and a dance party at Sydney’s! We met up with Alpha fleet, ate yummy food, danced non-stop to the DJ, and chatted with all our friends. Lily (mate from She’s the Captain) and I went on a mission to find ice cream. Cash successfully swapped at a kind local store owner’s, and we had the best ice cream of the trip!

Sweet Caroline headed back to the boat for a quick boat meeting, where we tried to count to 21 without saying the same number at the same time. It took over 20 minutes to reach 21, but we did it! Then it was time for bed after another action-packed day at Sail Caribbean.
